Roles

The list of characters and crew positions for a show. Owners, admins, staff and anyone with Can edit on the show can change it.

Set up the list

Open the project and go to the Roles tab.
On a new show, click Add the standard crew roles to fill in the usual crew positions in one click. Or skip it and add your own, as below.
Under Cast, type a character in Add a character… and click Add. Tick Many people for a part like Ensemble.
Under Crew, use Add a position… the same way.
Drag roles to put them in the order you want.

Change a role

Rename fixes its name.
Each role holds one person. For a role many people share, like Ensemble, click Allow many. One person only switches it back.

Removing a role can’t be undone. You’ll be asked to confirm first. It also clears that role from any audition callbacks. People who held it stay on the team.

Where roles show up

You pick from this list when you add someone to the team, when you assign callback roles, and when you cast from an audition. The Roles tab shows everyone who holds each part.
